Product safety matters because many catalog items are gifted to children. This page explains how this storefront talks about safety. It does not republish another company’s test reports, and it does not claim laboratory results we have not attached to a product.

Age grading, small-part warnings, and care instructions appear on the WooCommerce product if those fields were filled. Read them before you buy. If a listing has no age grade, ask guest services at buildabear@gmail.com before gifting to a child under three. Plush with plastic eyes, buttons, or sound boxes can present a choking hazard when damaged; inspect toys and retire them if a part loosens.

Recalls: we will post recall information on this page when a SKU we sold is subject to a publicly announced recall: [RECALL LISTING PROCESS — EDIT IN WP ADMIN]. If you think an item is unsafe, stop using it and email photos plus the Item No. We may also point you to a government recall database. We will not ask you to keep using a product that is under an active recall.

Materials: fiber fill, fabrics, and dyes are those of the manufacturer of each SKU. This theme does not add a materials table that is not in the product record. If you need a fiber content for an allergy concern, write to us; if we do not have it, we will say so rather than guess.

Sound modules and batteries, when present, should stay inside their sewn pocket. Do not let a child play with a button cell. Follow the product description. Dispose of batteries under local rules, not in a stuffed-animal donation bin.

Workshop stuffing: in a physical workshop, stuffing is done on equipment we do not control from this website. Online catalog items ship as the product record describes (usually pre-stuffed unless the description says otherwise). Do not try to restuff a toy with tools that can puncture a seam unless a workshop is doing the work.
